Thermal forming of materials in single-sided or double-sided flat or three-dimensional moulds. The moulds are clamped mechanically, in presses, or with manual devices. This thermoforming method can be applied to just foam or foam covered with textiles or plastics.
Vacuum thermoforming
The material is stretched to the shape of the mould using vacuum. This thermoforming method can be applied to foam and plastics.
